K S Viswanathan (KSV) is an accomplished technology industry authority. KSV has been a part of the shaping and growth of the Information Technology industry in India. In a career spanning over four decades, he has had the unique privilege of providing leadership to an Indian global IT Services organization, a leading Multinational products firm, a leading not for profit organization and the foremost IT Industry body. His composite and unparalleled vision is an outcome of hands-on experience in all dimensions of the technology industry.

He is currently serving as Vice President (Industry Initiatives) at NASSCOM. His key charter is to Tech enable the IT eco system in the Digital Transformation world to help India retain its Global IT supremacy.

Starting his career in business development, he rose through the ranks to become the Chief Executive & Sr. VP of Wipro in India. Beyond the corporate sector, in his formative years, he had the opportunity to engage with the Government based in Delhi.

Subsequently, as Managing Director, Dell, he helped the organization start-up and grow.  Education being the bed rock of technology, he then was involved with Azim Premji foundation, a not-for-profit initiative in education to set up Azim Premji University. Currently as a part or leadership team at NASSCOM, he provides direction and guidance to the technology ecosystem in India to help retain its edge. 

KSV provides leadership and advisory services to drawing IT strategies, thought leadership on  Digital transformation and building a successful Global Capability Center models and adoption of Start-up & Open Innovation initiatives to IT & BPM industry to enhance the innovation capabilities KSV is working on advising several of the MNCs with their location and growth strategies for Digital transformation in India as well as enable the Engineering and Design Industries to achieve USD$ 100 Bn of revenue by 2025

Dr. Avik Sarkar

Dr. Avik Sarkar is a Faculty at Indian School of Business working in the areas of Data, Emerging Technology and Public Policy. Dr. Avik Sarkar was the former Head of Data Analytics Cell and Officer on Special Duty (OSD) at NITI Aayog (National Institution for Transforming India Aayog) premier policy think-tank of Government of India.  At NITI Aayog, Dr. Sarkar helped in developing roadmap for use of data, analytics and artificial intelligence for Governance, Policy making across various sectors for India’s inclusive growth and led efforts towards setting up the first High Performance Computing based Data Analytics Lab and Energy Modeling Unit at NITI Aayog.

Dr. Sarkar is a TEDx speaker and has been nominated among the “Top 10 Data Scientists in India” in 2017 by the Analytics India Magazine and nominated as “LinkedIn Influencer” in the Technology space in 2015 for contribution and engaging discussions on the LinkedIn platform in the areas of Big Data, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, etc. Dr Sarkar is involved as an Advisor at various government committees like the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) committee for setting standard for “Artificial Intelligence”, Analytics Advisory committee for Government e-Marketplace (GeM), Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) of Census 2021 and Advisor towards setting up Data Analytics Center of Excellence by Government of Assam. Dr. Sarkar serves on the Academic advisory board of Aegis School of Business and on the Entrepreneurship/Academic advisory board of Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Delhi.

Dr Sarkar has over 18 years of experience across different aspects of Artificial Intelligence, statistical modelling, text mining, network analysis  across companies like Accenture, IBM, Nokia, NASA, Persistent Systems, Zycus, etc. At Accenture Consulting in Singapore, he contributed to various data and analytics related engagements with Singapore Government like  efficient reporting and resolution of municipal issues, evaluation and monitoring of secondary school education, improving operational efficiency in immigration and customs.  While at IBM, Dr Sarkar made significant contributions towards developing the Monte Carlo Simulation of SPSS and the Predictive Maintenance and Quality solution for the manufacturing sector.  Dr Sarkar holds a PhD from The Open University, UK,  Masters from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay and Bachelors from Calcutta University.  Dr Sarkar has authored several technical publications and technology patents.

Kuntal Hansaria

Kuntal is a seasoned AI expert with 18 plus years of professional experience in understating the AI value chain for CMO’s and  has worked with various organisations building and enhancing their digital capabilities using  data driven insights approach. He uniquely blends his experiences across digital marketing, AI and analytics to deliver great digital experiences for deep client impact.

A seasoned Digital Analytics professional, he has proven capabilities in setting up web analytics and conversion optimization practices at large organizations. He has touched all aspects of marketing AI, cutting across traditional and new age channels and delivered on campaign effectiveness, customer satisfaction, incremental revenue & ROI goals.

Having traversed the digital analytics transformation journey at multiple organizations, he has distilled his learning in AI frameworks that can help an organization map their current state and identify gaps to achieve their desired state. These tools help map out, structure and prioritize activities across various stages involving data collection, tool/tech selection, KPI prioritization, team building and insights delivery. He has pioneered the setup of AI experience centres across multiple clients and geographies helping them take tactical real-time AI-driven decisions for their campaigns.

Previously, Kuntal was the Global Head of Digital Analytics at HSBC working closely with their new digital team transforming the bank’s digital interfaces by infusing algorithms at the point of customer contact across 24 countries. Prior to that, he was the Director of Digital Analytics at Fidelity Investments, where he built and scaled a team to deliver data-driven insights and optimize their digital assets across Paid, Owned and Earned digital channels in North America. Last few years, he has been building new ways of optimizing the digital AI process and helping his clients across India, US, Canada and Sweden get higher returns from their digital channels.

Nikhil Shanker

Nikhil Shanker has 17 plus years of professional experience as an HR transformation leader across the full spectrum of the Talent Lifecycle. He is a pioneer in infusing AI interventions in HR  in talent acquisition, retention, compensation & benefits & learning & development.

Nikhil specializes in consulting with global firms in developing AI strategies for HR transformation. He has deep expertise in executing AI engagements in Global Talent Mobility, Cross Team Integration, Change Management, Experienced hire Integration and HR process value chain.

At Boston Consulting Group (BCG) in India & South East Asia, Nikhil was responsible for leading the talent acquisition team and executed novel and complex talent mapping strategies as part of large ‘Operating Model Changes’, involving HR transformation projects such as large scale stakeholder management, succession planning and new career frameworks. Prior to BCG, He led the India Talent Acquisition team for Accenture in India across 5 sites.

Nikhil has also developed and designed data driven talent engagement constructs using detailed real-time ‘Employee Surveys’ for feedback and inclusion leading to key ‘people insights’ and increased employee engagement metrics.
